Levertrace Lab
Evidence first

Only before-and-after evidence shows what moves LLM business descriptions.

Levertrace Lab studies how large language models describe French businesses after specific optimisation changes. The team compares owned pages, directories, business profiles, language versions and repeated claims before and after an edit. Their work is built for founders, marketers, agencies and small teams who need practical evidence about which changes alter model wording, where those changes appear, and where older descriptions stay in place.

«…the firm corrected its own page and its directory entry, yet one model still answers with [~ “a general maintenance provider”], the category the new page had already dropped…»

How the lab tests change

From an optimisation edit to the wording a model returns.

A Levertrace observation may be an answer, a source mention, a phrase choice or an omission under a defined prompt condition. The team forms sample sets descriptively, grouping French businesses by lever type: owned-page edits, third-party corrections, structured signals, bilingual rewrites, interlinking, dated updates and repeated claims.

Repeatability matters because another reader should be able to see the prompt family, source condition, language condition and tested change without guessing. The lab does not claim every model returns identical wording; it claims the test leaves enough tracks to follow.

Levertrace Lab is studying how French directory corrections, bilingual wording changes and repeated category claims appear in model descriptions. The team is especially interested in cases where English answers lag behind French source updates.

From the research desk

The index gathers field notes on LLM business descriptions: which facts moved, which stayed stuck, which sources seemed to dominate, and where the model avoided the business altogether. Materials are organised by lever type and by the kind of answer drift observed.

Business descriptions change only when the evidence trail changes.

Levertrace Lab follows that trail carefully, before and after each tested lever.
